I was appointed as Jailer of the Bell County Detention Center by Judge Albey Brock in September 2008 pursuant to KRS 63.220 state law because Jailer Jimmy Hoskins decided to retire. I started my corrections career in April 1986 when I was hired by Jailer Donnie Slusher as deputy jailer. I then worked my way up to Assistant Jailer. I was Assistant Jailer for 13 years until I was appointed as the new Jailer. I would like the people of Bell County to know I will continue the great job that Jimmy Hoskins and Donnie Slusher did.
